3.Earthquake Damage and Safety(photos)

Reason for recommendation:
It provides authentic aerial photos which allow viewers to see the contrast in different parts of Japan after the earthquake clearly. Besides, it's a convenient and user-friendly tool for teaching and learning as viewers can have deeper and instant understanding by turning the left and right pages.
 
Information Literacy guidance:
 
These are website which shows photos after earthquake. They reveal the scale of devastation across dozens of suburbs and tens of thousands of homes and businesses.

 
Firstly, observe the photos taken. Secondly, hover over to the second picture and do observation again. Thirdly, do comparison. 
 
Learning tools:
A cluster organizer is provided for viewers to conduct their own learning. After observing the aerial photos, they can do comparison based on the six aspects shown in the cluster organizer. Ideas can be jotted down in the cluster organizer as well. Write down their ideas.
